FAQs

What kind of camp is this going to be? What should I expect?
There will be interactions with lecturers, before you take their classes and exams. There are lots of bonding time between the participants so that you will have friends to take classes with when school starts. You get to experience varsity life first hand.
All in all, Heroes - Mission 2012, is a camp that is different from all the other camps in town!
What's with the two locations?
Why would you want to stay in a place where you will be spending the next 3 or 4 years at for the entire camp?! Don't worry, there will be adequate time for you to get acquainted with the campus. We will have fun on and outside the campus!
How can I get to NUS, or Changi Seafront Chalet?
You can take bus 10, 33, 95, 96, 151 and 189 to NUS. For folks who are driving, please refer to the NUS Campus Map for instructions. You can also use SBS Transit's iris Journey Planner to plan your way down to the campus. For Changi Seafront Chalet, take bus 29 from Pasir Ris MRT.
You can also download both NUS Campus Map and SBS Transit's iris Journey Planner and use them on your smartphones!
What should I bring? Can I bring digital devices such as my awesome iPad 2?
A packing list will be sent as the camp date draws closer. Read it, print it and most importantly, pack according to it. If you intend to bring digital devices such as your awesome iPad 2, do take care of it. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
How much money should I bring?
You should bring enough to cover some meals at coffee shops/fastfood restaurants over the course of the camp.
I have a question that is not on the list!
